How to sue the WT over shunning policy. It CAN happen!
by Bad_Wolf inthis is a very good document from a law school exploring religious freedom vs an individuals right to religious freedom without blackmail, pressure, etc, and also explores why certain lawsuits did not win and what it would take to win them.

a person born in, and whose parents or family pressured to shun because they simply left the religion, who has evidence of damages, etc, would likely have a good case if they find a good lawyer.

What are the chances of winning a case in the bible belt south against religious abuse? Probably next to zero. So Tennessee making Christian religion so sacrosanct would definitely be a very up hill battle. Also perhaps they didn't have a very good lawyer.
That's my take on the case, and definitely not touchstone case in law studies.

These guys on the governing body are really out of touch and worried too much about tight pants and beards worn by their devotees.

$800,000 ain't chicken feed. Say one XJW gets 1/16 that $50,000 in a lawsuit over the disfellowshipping practice of the Watchtower corp. then you multiply that times the number of cases that will be lodged in the future and you have bankruptcy of the corporation with a mad rush to see who gets the money first before the declaration of bankruptcy.
What ever angle it takes lets keep the thinking tank looking for the magic bullet to fuck this bullshit mind control cult in the courts. Always remember "there are more ways than one to skin a cat" and black and white thinking limits options.

I think if this women can get $21,000,000 then there should be hope for getting a case against the Watchtower Corporation for it's disfellowshipping policies. You just need a creative intelligent Lawyer to find out the right way to approach this in the courts. A failed case might be a deterrent but to a real legal eagle it might make them just work harder to find a chink in the WT corp. legal armor.

I enjoy your opinion Nate.
I worry about this toads survival, it is good to know that in Canada you can get the purified free base for $160 a gram(cheap) they just need melatonin and a few of chemical steps one can make 5meo cheaply which could save the toads if there is some type of mad rush of people seeking cheap and fast inlightenment.. A lot of rehab (ibogaine) therapies for addictions in Mexico and Canada use 5meo DMT as a follow up treatment a few days after. Ibogaine for shadow work and 5meo for the unity experience.
